The Utah  Chess Association strives to promote growth and support opportunities for Utah chess players, to provide avenues for improving their knowledge and skills, to create venues for players to engage in chess activities, both serious and casual, to foster chess related communication between players, clubs and organizations that support chess locally, nationally and internationally, and to represent the best interests of the Utah chess community.
