The Utah Chess Association has decided to cancel the Elementary Championship, the Junior High School Championship and the High School Championship. We are aware of the COVID-19 outbreak situation and the governor’s recommendations to take preemptive action. We are very sorry this had to happen.
We will be working to refund all the registrations from these events. We appreciate your patience in this matter.
Currently, we do not have plans to postpone the Elementary Championship to a future date but it may change depending on how this outbreak is handled. The Junior High School and High School Championship may happen at a later date.
